American Moving and Storage Association. Founded in 1936, AMSA is a D.C.- based trade association whose mission is to enhance the domestic and international moving and storage industry. Our chief goals include effective government regulations and policies which enable members to provide quality service at compensatory prices, and a well informed public regarding the value of professional moving and storage services. AMSA represents more than 3,500 members including 2,200 interstate tariff participants, 750 local movers, 300 international movers plus our suppliers and state association members. The Maryland Movers Council (MMC) is a specialized segment of Maryland Motor Truck Association that represents the moving and storage industry. The Council is comprised of more than 50 professional companies that move household or office goods within Maryland and across the country. The Rhode Island Trucking Association, Inc.
